Crane Scales, Mooring load cells, Hoist Dynamometers - RCSS

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a crane scale & dynamometer?

Basically the only difference is what you are using to attach the load cell to your crane or lifting device for your application.  Generally a “dynamometer” refers to a load cell that uses shackles for attaching to your crane or lifting device.  Crane Scales have a lifting eye on the top and a hook on the bottom so they can easily be attached to your lifting device.
